We attend church services together as a family. As you might guess, this means that some kids want to be there, some kids do NOT want to be there, and some attend while figuring out what they do/don't want to be doing about this business of religion, spirituality, and their parents' belief in Christ. Now....factor in our family's often "less appropriate" sense of humor - and things can be often entertaining (yes, also oft embarassing - but, I'll just bring up the funny parts today, haha).Sunday, I came out of my church class and met Rebecca (Queen of DRY humor) walking down the hall. She poked me. Huh? She said it was the Holy Spirit. And she poked me again. "Did the Spirit touch you, mom? Do you want to feel the Spirit touch you again?" Rolling my eyes, walking further down the hall, she pushed me a little bit. "Rebecca! What are you doing?!?" She pushed me a little bit again. "Did the Spirit move you, mom? Huh? Did you feel the Spirit move you?" Then, at dinner, she announced "Hey, guess what guys? Mom felt the Spirit at church today - it touched her. She was really moved by it." What a dork...but it really made me giggle a lot.

It is nice she feels she can joke around with you, even about God.
She's so pretty.
