Awesome cast photo from Rebecca's last play. She left her Performing Arts high school two weeks ago and transferred to the closer public high school. I'm so sad about it, but she really thought out her decision and feels it's best for her. So far, she seems happier, I will admit. AND, she went and talked to the arts teachers - and with an "audition" of singing Happy Birthday at 8am while she had a head cold - they placed her in highest choir and gave her a role in the spring play of understudy to the lead. Nice. I hope this is a good experience for her.Megan and Sarah also FINALLY started their public school experiences again (very much against my will. And the cps lady even sat in court and said "Mother is doing it because it's therapeutically beneficial". Huh? Says the CPS lady, new to CPS, but a many years ex-police officer? What therapeutic individual thinks this is a good idea?!? But, because it's true that it'd risk everyone staying safely in the home right now, while power hungry lady is in charge, the girls are giving it a shot.) Took a long time to get things straight for both of them - but they've been in a week - both girls seem to be starting out on good feet (a lot to be said for Sarah, with the muscle problem who actually DOES have problems staying on her feet/upright...lol...cracking myself up....)
This now means I have NO children at home during the day, except for Caroline. It's different. Quiet. And somehow goes by too quickly to get anything done?? This is going to be a learning experience for me....:-)
